richard

Richard Gropper is a PPR Education Services Recruiter. He has been at PPR for 6 years now! We love Richard for his incredible quick wit, his ability to go to sleep every night at 9PM, oh…and he is a rock star recruiter. Richard knows everything about the school staffing industry and his contractors love him!

Here is some more insight into RG…..

1. Tell us why you love being an Education Services recruiter? What are the best parts about your job?

My favorite part of the job is definitely helping people. Whether that be a school district, a therapist, or an actual student that needs special education services.

2. What is the worst job you have ever had?

Uhhh… That’s a tough one. Honestly I haven’t had jobs I’ve hated. I can tell you what my favorite job was. Working at Chili’s when I was 17. I got one free meal a shift. I got the same thing every time, Cajun Chicken Sandwich. I probably had 100 of them.

3. Do you have any pets? Kids? Family?

Negative. I like other people’s pets. As far as a family, I’ve got my brother and my mom and dad.

4. Favorite thing to do outside of work?

Jags. Definitely Jags games. I like to get there crazy early and tailgate for hours before the game. Fun fact, the Jaguars are going to win the Super Bowl this year. Then next year. Then for like 10 years in a row after that.

5. Favorite TV Show?

Probably River Monsters starring British angler, Jeremy Wade. I like that guy, he’s well-traveled. I feel like they’re running out of monster fish though. It may be time for him to start fishing in the ocean. We’ll call the new show, Ocean Monsters. It’ll be an easy transition.

6. Favorite food and beverage?

Mellow Mushroom no doubt. A people’s pepperoni and like five IPAs and then a nap.

7. Tell us what you like best about working for PPR?

Definitely the people, it’s great to be able to consider your co-workers more as friends.
