Grab some paper, scissors and glue…and you’re good to go! This craft is simple for students of all ages to try. Start by tracing your student’s hand on a colored sheet of paper and a heart on another colored piece of paper. Then, help your student cut each shape out. Glue the middle and ring finger of the cutout down with a heart pasted on top (see picture). Finish this craft by asking your student what they love MOST about speech and writing it in the heart with their name. Use this craft as door or bulletin board décor! This idea is tons of fun, affordable and easy to do.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with this sound matching! This activity is an easy-to-make DYI craft or you can download it online for the affordable prices of $4.75 on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. Each heart has two halves. Your student has to match each pictured object with the correct letter! This activity is great for younger ages and small groups to do together as well.
