Managed Services Account Manager Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of a Managed Services Account Manager is to manage and facilitate the placement of qualified candidates in PPR vendor managed clients. Managed Services Account Managers are the main contact of PPR VM clients. This position will interact with PPR Travel Nursing and PPR’s vendor network of affiliate companies to source and screen submitted candidates for openings posted within PPR’s VM clients. The Account Manager is tasked with using multiple systems and processes to manage client openings and affiliate vendor communications. Fast-paced environment needing multi-tasking and customer service spirit to properly manage accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Affiliate Interactions: (75% - 80% of job) • Processing affiliate and PPR placement activities; to include candidate selection and complete authority on candidate submissions • Managing affiliate contract negotiations • Managing post-placement activities o Manage starts and terminations with affiliates o Obtain evaluations on candidates • Invoicing – Accounts Payable support • Maintaining affiliates’ Certificates of Insurance (COI) coverage • Updating amendments and contracts • Responding to new affiliate inquiries Client Interactions: (20% - 25% of job) • Start Management/QM packets to MSP accounts(s) • Interacting with client for account labor coverage • Potential to manage multiple MSP accounts • VM reports to clients QUALIFICATIONS Education: • Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience required and/or preferred: • Phone exposure (customer service, sales, etc.) • Account Management, inside sales, outside sales • Selling or closing deals through consultative selling techniques • Track record of career success and/or longevity in other jobs Skills, Characteristics, Knowledge and Ability: • Strong sales skills (telemarketing and relationship-based) • Strong technical and computer skills • Experience using applicant tracking system • Desire and ability to adhere to PPR Healthcare’s mission statement, vision, core values and high standard of customer service every day • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail • Experience managing time between competing priorities • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Great interpersonal skills • Great attitude that is contagious and “can do” • Willingness to learn with an open mind • Competitive spirit Environmental: • Business office environment • Computer usage estimated 6-8 hours daily
