Q: What has been your top Travel Nursing assignment location?

Probably Anchorage, Alaska! But I have gotten to see SO many amazing places and met some of the most incredible people in the world!!

Q: What is your favorite memory on assignment?

My oldest daughter surprised me while I was in Alaska by coming out not only with my 8-year-old grandson Isaiah, but she brought my 86-year-old mother with her all the way from South Carolina! We had a BLAST and my mom said she had seen things she NEVER dreamed she would see!

Q: Do you have any advice for first-time travelers?

YES! Talk to a seasoned traveler before you make any decisions!

Q: Why did you choose to work with PPR Travel Nursing?

The people got me started…I connected with James Ireland first and on one of my assignments, I went to Salem, Massachusetts. By the time I got from the airport to the apartment I was exhausted and had foolishly gone without my car, so I had no groceries yet. James actually found a pizza place and had dinner delivered to me! Now THAT is going above and beyond and I will NEVER forget it!!

Q: This month, we are talking Tech Tips for Travel Nurses. Do you have any go-to apps you use while working as a Travel Nurse?

I travel in my camper, so I look for campgrounds on the KOA and Good Sam’s sites.
