Selecting the right vendor partner starts by asking the right questions.
Let’s assume all the vendors you assess meet your basic requirements. Now, you must select one. Here are three steps to help you choose which one is best for you.
Do they match your organizations culture?
This questions can be answered just by looking around the vendor management company’s website. Do they offer a culture that is fit to your own? As you assess what they have to offer, take notes. Don’t be afraid to give them a call with your questions and/or concerns.
Are they reliable?
What other clients do they serve? Do they have documented success? Your ultimate goal should to be to work with a partner who you can trust. If the provider doesn’t offer a positive, partnership approach, pick someone else.
Are they offering what you need to succeed?
Remember, just because they can hire candidates doesn’t mean they can meet your short term and long-term goals.
